It is extremely important that every member attend.  As you know last year's accomplishments and plans for the new year are presented at this meeting.  Also, new executive officers will be elected.  Please plan to be there and help DHHS!

Finally, please take the time to renew your membership (click here to download form) and help us to continue to serve those members of our community with hearing loss.  As a reminder, all Board members are required by our by-laws to hold active memberships.

Foursome winners of the 4th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Deaf and Hard of Hearing of the Treasure Coast, Inc. sponsored by Nurse on Call, includes Steve Strickland, Ian Boykin, Jason Jones and Scott Rupp.

In second place was the team sponsored by Dr. Daniel Sharkey of Treasure Coast ENT with Michael Himebaugh, John Himebaugh, Josh Van Porter and Allie Boderman.

The Fourth Annual Golf Tournament was a great success.  40+ golfers converged on Eagle Marsh Golf Course on Saturday, Oct. 22.  More than $4,000 was raised during the event which will support vital programs like the Children's Hearing Aid Fund.

 

 

 

DHHS hosts recreational events, seminars and presentations to help bridge the gaps between the hearing and deaf communities.

  The EAAC is now conducting a survey to better understand how people with disabilities currently use 9-1-1 services and how access to these services may be improved in the future.  All Americans need access to 9-1-1 in an emergency.  Please participate in a short survey to help decide the best ways for Americans with disabilities to call and obtain help from 9-1-1 services.
