Out of the 4,000,000 children born in the US annually, 3 in every 1 thousand suffer from some form of hearing loss. This equates to 1 child being born every hour of every day, 365 days a year with hearing loss.  It is estimated that there are 35 million people with hearing loss in the United States and over the next 25 years that number will almost triple.  

There are aproximately 90,000 people suffering with hearing loss on our Treasure Coast.  DHHS is here to help those men, women and children.
